Detoxification

detox.jpgDetoxification is a natural process and is essential for good health. Our body eliminates toxins daily. The toxins and pollutants, additives, pesticides, herbicides, cosmetics, to which we are exposed by modern life, can make us feeling sluggish and weak.  

Alcohol consumption and highly processed foods can all take their toll. The body has powerful system in place to cleanse itself which may be supported to function as their best in the presence of optimum nutrition.Good health is within our reach, but we must cleanse our "temple" and eat a whole natural diet that provides us with important essential nutrients for our well-being.

A healthy diet is the first priority in the detoxification program but herbs can also help us to stimulate the liver, lungs, kidneys and bowels. Good health is not hard to find, but does require diligence and life style changes.

The body can safely handle and eliminate chemicals and toxins from the body through the kidneys (as urine), skin (as sweat), lungs (as expelled air) and bowels (as feces). So keeping these eliminative organs in good working order is essential for a good health. Everybody can effectively restore their health to optimal level and look younger. When the body eliminates toxins, then health is restored and energy and vigor are revitalized. Other factors which may be helpful in detoxification, is water, exercise, rest, sunshine, and fresh air. The following basic steps are recommended during any cleansing programme to adding the body’s detoxification:
  1. Eating a diet that focus on fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds.
  2. Adopting a healthy lifestyle, and exercising regularly. Drink 6-8 glasses of liquid per day
  3. Cut out alcohol and caffeine, stop smoking
  4. Cut out highly processed foods and those high in sugar and refined carbohydrates.  Avoid saturated fats
  5. Using special nutritional and herbal supplemental program to protect and enhance liver function.
